CIE 2021 Annual Conference (Virtual)

Dear CIE staff and students,

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2021 CIE Annual Conference (Virtual) to be held on Thursday, 14th and Friday, 15th October 2021.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, our conference will once again be held online over Zoom.

The conference is an important event in the annual CIE calendar, giving students, staff and our wider network an opportunity to listen, discuss and contribute. It creates a unique forum for our academics, researchers and students to network, connect and collaborate across the Deakin campuses, and showcase the incredible research we’re producing as a Centre.

This is a great opportunity to introduce and share your research with online discussions, Q&A at the end of each cluster of talks, and networking opportunities. We’re also planning plenty of engaging (and fun!) activities to keep the Zoom fatigue at bay, and create an uplifting atmosphere at our virtual conference.

We encourage all of our CIE members to be part of this important annual event!

Conference program and keynote speakers will be announced shortly.

Are you presenting at the conference?

Please include the title of your talk in the registration application. Speaker registrations close at 11:59pm on Wednesday September 15th, 2021, with the conference program available by the end of September.
